Jou just grinned, before he puffed out his cheeks, “I wouldda had a mommy figure too if Honda wasn’t so possessive….must be nice being the youngest..” he muttered before taking a deep breath, he knew it stemmed from the factor that his bro was a mama’s boy and damn proud of it.
He blinked at the apartment his eyes widening before shaking his head, ‘… wow I’d give anything to live in a place like this…’ he mentally thought. He noted the difference in the smile, which made him weary, “why don’t we both leave ideas of abuse outside… I think you may a agree it might make for a happier time…” he trailed off, it wasn’t a subject to be ignored completely just brought up at a later date.
He let out a light laugh at that, Trying to keep his thoughts straightened and organized. He didn’t know much about Honda, Not as much as the others would, But he did hear that about him. He thought it was a good thing. He would be, Too, If his mother was alive.
He stared at the number five lit up on the button chart, Chewing on his lip without his own notice. He looked up at the other as he spoke, His mind busy now. He nodded in agreement and tightened his grip on the bag. “You’re right.” he forced a smile. “Happy it is.”
Jou smiled back at the other, though he did note that it was forced, “hmm are you going to need help in the kitchen?” he asked, the only reason he hadn’t offered to carry the bags was he should not have been trusted with the food. “…maybe we can talk about the things that are on our minds if it’s going to bug at our brains so…” he offered up relenting to the idea that it might be better to get some negative things off of the mind.
"If you would like to help, You can." he smiled. "But I can do it all if you would prefer. I don’t mind." he smiled, Rocking on his feet a bit. He pinched his lips together a bit and shook his head. "I don’t mind… If that’s something that you would want to do." he glanced at the number dinging three. He felt awkward, Like he had done something wrong. He hadn’t heard from his yami in weeks, Or was it months? It was still a fresh enough wound, But at the same time he was trying to push the thought of him away, Tried to move on with his life. He had felt lost as it was and now he wanted to move to erase the memories. But if he was to come back…
Marik just smiled lightly, “it’s alright, it’s easy to assume a person like me wouldn’t think that way… I get a lot of judgement but then again I know I’ve done a lot of bad so in a way it’s what was it called again…creama? no….Karna?” he replied. “Would you like to spend time for a while?” he questioned.
He shook his head. “No. It has nothing to do with that. I take it your light was like your first love? Nothing ever rids you of your first love.” he pursed his lips in understanding before laughing a bit. “Karma.” he nodded with a smile. “And yes. I would love to.” he beamed.
"Hmm he was… " Marik murmured, with a bit of an upset look before shaking it off, "but personally I don’t a love no matter if it’s first second or third ever really leave you….. because of memories… experiences… good and bad won’t ever leave you.." he explained, it wasn’t your average way of thinking about things but it was his way. "Hah yes Karma… that was the word… would you like to stay here? or go someplace else?" he questioned as he didn’t really care where they would hang out.
"That’s understandable. That’s how my yami was." he took in a breath and nodded. He rocked on his feet for a moment and smiled when he repeated the word. "Either. Either is fine." he looked around. "If you’d like to stay here, We can, Otherwise that’s fine as well."
It had been such a long day for the whittete, Between school and work. He had just ended his shift at the bookstore and decided that, Even though the sun was setting, It was high time to have a walk in the woods. He hadn’t gone on a walk for quite some time, His elder had always needed or wanted him for one thing or another. Now he didn’t have a say. He clocked out as soon as he could and grabbed his coat, Tugging it on. He needed this more than he thought he did. He buttoned up his jacket as he exited the shop and took in a breath of crisp fall air, Smiling as the warm sun hit his face.
Marik was out and about all day that day. Mostly just hopping from store to store in boredom. He was searching for something pretty and sparkly but nothing caught his eye yet. At some point he had gotten into a staring contest with a tabby cat, he wasn’t sure how long he was staring at the cat but one things for sure it felt later than it had when it had started.
Ryou hummed to himself as he walked down the street, Becoming quickly distracted by one shop or another, A baking store in particular that sold everything that he could think of that he could use to do what he wanted. He smiled as he looked through the glass, Weighing the option if he wanted to venture inside or not.
Marik was still having a stare off with the cat, until the cat was unnerved enough to fly at his face claws outstretched. The cat latched onto his face before he could really react as a hiss could be heard from both marik and the cat. His face was starting to get clawed at pretty bad, though this was strangely making him like this animal more, he thought he could make friends with it all the while his face was getting clawed up pretty viciously.
Ryous head flung up towards the sound. “Oh my Ra.” he said to himself, Running to the man. “Do you need help? Kitty… Kitty come here!” he tried to help.
He smiled, Leaning into him as they waited. “You smell so sweet.” he blushed.
"I do?" Marik blushed. "I can’t imagine why."
He shrugged and kissed…
Marik moaned softly before pulling away. “Don’t wanna get too excited now, at least not out here.” he chuckled.
He looked down at his lips and up at his eyes before licking his bottom lip with a nod, Smiling finally. “Okay.”
"Bakura." he nodded once and took in a breath. "How are you?"
The demon looked over to him…did he know him? He thought about for second before it came to him. It was one of those Ryou’s from a different world that his own. “Now, what business is my well being to you?”
"You don’t have to answer. I was just trying to be polite is all." he nodded, Taking in a breath. He looked the other over. How long had it been since he last saw his own yami? Had it been weeks already? Months? He sighed and bit at his lip. "You don’t have to accept it.” he crossed his arms.
